World of Whatever

Uncle Big Bad's World of Whatever began in 1988 with two people, a dream, and a desire to create unique and interesting artwork. It began as more of a creative outlet for us, but we have since decided to share our projects with others in hopes they will enjoy them as much as we do.

Our Business

In 1988 Uncle Big Bad's World of Whatever was born in Simi Valley, California. It was created by John (Uncle Big Bad) and Tammy Snyder, initially as a creative outlet for our talent and desire to 'make things.' Over the years we have collaborated on many projects, from painting store windows and signs, to printing t-shirts and making buttons, to sculptures and jewelry. We enjoy using different types of mediums in our artwork, and include many 'found' objects and items from nature.

Who We Are

John (Uncle Big Bad) and Tammy Snyder are a pair of creative, innovative folks, who enjoy art and artists, mother nature, and our family. We create art as the inspiration strikes, and we like to develop interesting and unusual items. We don't limit ourselves to one genre or style, but instead try to incorporate our own originality into our work. We combine mediums such as glass, metal, paint, clay, paper mache, and items found along the road or on our morning walks to we create what we enjoy.
